Judicial Review Application withdrawn on Bexley second incinerator

Unfortunately the Secretary of State gave the go ahead for a 2nd incinerator at the existing Bexley site. We were hoping this would be challenged in the High Court by the Mayor of London.    The GLA have since advised that - "The Mayor (of London) has had to make the difficult decision not to continue with the Cory Riverside Judicial Review. This is based on legal advice that the likelihood of success is low and the Mayor could not justify the significant additional cost to taxpayers of proceeding to a full hearing."
