Government official, Betsy DeVon, has brought new regulations for Title IX to take place in mid-August. The system is already against victims as it is.

We do not need schools to lift the 60 day time limit they are required to respond to Title IX reports. We do not need someone of the rapist/assaulter choosing to cross-examine victims. This means victims now have to re-live and tell their story to someone that can question you about the details on behalf of the rapist/assaulter. Currently, 92% of all Title IX reports are incidents that take place off-campus. The new regulation states that Title IX will no longer be responsible for off-campus incidents. THIS MEANS THEY ARE TRYING TO GET RID OF THE RESPONSIBILITY OF 92% OF ALL CASES THEY RECEIVE just because of the location of a rape or assault. 

Hold the school responsible and ask them to not implement these new changes. Make them take action against DeVon’s new regulation. We should be moving forward, not backwards.
