Unsanitary, unhealthy, unsafe and under horrible management. Yup, that’s your local pet store. Pet City is more like Nightmare City. Mold and Algae in water bottles the small animals drink from daily and mold and algae in tanks fish swim in. Reptiles force to walk on their cage floor without bedding! Rodents are forced to mate with their babies! Birds are forced to stand on one little platform with no wing space!  Rusty wheels rodents run on! Spider webs in their cage! Starved until bones peak through skin! Unlocked cages for easy access to any customer to grab them! Given wrong information from the store owner!!

Okay now imagine all that but YOU live like that! Try to take a sip of moldy water! Try to place your bare hands on metal rust! Try not to clean your house for months and collect dust and cobwebs! Try not to lock your house at night while your sleeping, you’re vulnerable! Try to swim in a pool with so much algae and bugs, it reeks until you get sick! Try to go to bed with no bed! Try to get medical attention when you’re sick, but you can’t! 

These poor animals are living like this. Think to yourself. Would you trade your life right now for those conditions? No right, well these animals have no choice. They have to live like that until they are brought home to a person that was given wrong advice to care for them. These animals are scared and sick, and with that they will bite for protection. It’s a warning or maybe even a cry for help! “Please help me, this man (store owner) will not take care of me and give me the right needs to become healthy again! I am going to die and I’m only so young“
