Living on the Damolly Road for over 40 years, and I have never seen so many inconsiderate drivers using the road as a speeding lane!. We are tormented daily and nightly with speeding drivers, who are one day going to kill a small child, elderly neighbour, an animal or another driver! This needs to stop, before something tragic happens. Please help us with our petition to get traffic calming measures put into place immediately. There are 5 schools in this area, and the community is growing, with new houses being built and more families moving in and around. 
Chestnut grove, Ashfield avenue and beyond to Kaynard villas has all got speed ramps, so where is ours!? Do we not matter? Do our neighbours not matter? THIS IS ALSO A BUILT UP AREA! We are not asking, we are DEMANDING that we get help. We are voting in the MLAS, we are paying our rates, we are paying taxes as working citizens of Newry. Do your bit and help save lives. We owe it to our children, we owe it to our neighbours!
