Many Residents mailboxes where damaged/broken as a result of snow cleaning activity by the chesterfield township municipal snow trucks. 

Upon filing the complaint with township Department of Public Works, response was provided township doesn't have policy to fix the mailboxes damaged/broken as a result of snow cleaning activity by the chesterfield township municipal snow trucks.

Issue is why should taxpayer bare the expense or go through the trouble to fixing something which was caused by township department.  Township should be fixing or replacing the mailboxes which were damaged as a result of snow cleaning activity by the chesterfield township municipal snow trucks

More over this policy is not aligning to the Burlington County policies, if you are living on the any county roads where county trucks are cleaning the snow, and if they cause the damage/break the mailbox, they would come and fix it.  (See attached email confirmation from County department in response to query by one of our committee man).

I request you to sign this petition and let our voice heard to the township committee member to reconsider their grounds on fixing broken/damaged mailboxes as a result of snow cleaning activity by the chesterfield township municipal snow trucks..
