I have lived in Scripps Ranch for 5 years and attended middle school at Marshall Middle and 2 years of high school at Scripps Ranch High School. This summer of 2016 I have moved to Mira Mesa because of family issues and my high school is not allowing me to continue my education there because I have moved to a new neighborhood (it's only 5 mins from my new home to Scripps Ranch HS). Instead they are forcing me to transfer to Mira Mesa High School because it is my neighborhood school. I wish to finish my high school career at Scripps Ranch because I already went to the first day of school and received my schedule and met my teachers. The school removing me from their system and having to transfer me to another school is (I think) more effort for the school admin than to simply let me remain at Scripps Ranch HS. I am not affecting anyone in a negative way by remaining at SRHS. I am already enrolled and in my teacher's rosters. I feel that me having to transfer schools puts both school at an inconvenience, it is easier for everyone if I get to remain at SRHS. Again, I also only live 5 minutes away from SRHS and I strongly want to finish my high school education there. I also promise to try my absolute best and challenge myself to ensure that your signature hasn't gone to waste. Please, signing this can save everyone time and help a student continue his education.
