Screen "Colorful Stage: A Miku Who Can't Sing" in Vietnamese Cinemas
The Issue
As a big fan of Anime and Vocaloid singers in Vietnam, it has come to my attention that the movie "Colorful Stage: A Miku who can't sing" is not being screened in cinemas across Vietnam. The lack of its accessibility to fans is disheartening. This film holds great significance for all of us who appreciate this art form and it will be deeply gratifying for followers of Vocaloid singers to witness the magnificence of this movie.
Anime and Vocaloid music genre have a massive fanbase in Vietnam. A study by Statista revealed that over 31% of internet users in Vietnam are into Anime (Statista, 2021). This highlights the potential great demand for the film. The movie "Colorful Stage: A Miku who can't sing" presents a unique blend of Anime art with Vocaloid music that hasn't been showcased extensively before, especially in Vietnam.
By not screening this movie, we are missing a substantial opportunity to celebrate and endorse the diversity of Animated arts and Vocaloid music in Vietnam. Moreover, it limits the artistic exposure of the Vietnamese youth who have an immense admiration for these cultural facets.
I am very much looking forward to and excited to see this movie, because this movie was first released in Japan on January 17 and was also received by a large number of viewers in the domestic market. However, at that time, the movie had no plans to be shown globally, making the Anime/Vocaloid fan community curious and wondering about the content of the movie, but they were disappointed because they could not watch the movie because the movie was only shown in Japan. Until recently, there was official information that the movie would be shown in theaters in other countries around the world such as Canada, the US, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China),... I, as well as the Anime and Vocaloid fan community in Vietnam, are also looking forward to and eager to see this movie.
Henceforth, we are urging Vietnam's cinema establishments to consider our plea and screen "Colorful Stage: A Miku who can't sing". Let's uplift the sentiment of the numerous fans across the country and give them the artistic exposure they truly deserve. Please sign this petition and voice out to make this movie available to us in Vietnam's theaters.
Sincerely thank you.
