My community and I have suffered in silence against the unjust tolls of the O2NL. As a local resident, it hurts to see how we are consistently sidelined without any regard for our inputs. We have consistently shown our disapproval against the O2NL tolls, yet, our voices remain ignored.

In fact, feedback canvassed among the locals clearly shows that a majority never supported tolling this road, an important artery for many who commute daily. The imposition of these tolls has strained us financially and created undue hardships that could easily be avoided.

We cannot overlook the long-standing democratic principle that decisions involving the community should be made with the full consent of the community. This has clearly not been the case with the O2NL tolls. The absence of our support and consent for tolls clearly demonstrates a violation of this principle.

We, the people affected by the O2NL tolls, deserve better. We deserve to have our opinions heard and our financial burdens recognized. We cannot allow our voices to continue to be ignored.

A. Tolls are scrapped.

b. We the community decides where toll revenue is spent.
