To Canada, I celebrated Easter on Sunday 22nd March 2026!

We have now passed 63 signatures, which means we are well on our way to reaching the critical 100-signature milestone I need to reach to officially trigger decision makers on the platform so they can fix their faulty flaws. Change.org’s system is RIGGED against users without social media and they should STOP recommending sharing petitions to all users since it is unfair on users without social media, but still keep the sharing tool as a supplementary option for users with social media!
Given that we have an organic supporter from Canada (a country my main Easter date petition has so far failed to reach), regardless of whether that sole supporter is subscribed to my email updates, I will break the news (and spread the word to Canada) that I celebrated Easter on Sunday 22nd March 2026, two weeks before 99.999999999999% of the world and on a date completely unrecognised by any church due to an obsessive fixation with the rarest and earliest possible Easter date!
Over the weekend we also had an organic international signature from Las Vegas (our original 59th signature), that signature however has been removed but it doesn’t matter anyway as we, Brits, will get our revenge on the UK echo chamber!
In short, as per my previous updates, change.org’s ‘Local’, ‘National’ and ‘Global’ scope settings should function exactly as how they are advertised and for campaigns marked as ‘Global’, the system should automatically funnel it to international AND domestic feeds, as the word ‘Global’ literally means anywhere in the world, including the user’s home country not just international.
With my previous detailed update about how the scope functions should work, users should still be able to change the scope of their petition if circumstances change (for example, the petition to bring Eurostar trains back to Kent under my proposed system should have originally been set to 'Local' to specifically target users in Ashford, then 'National - France' to target users in France who also use Eurostar services) in order for that campaign to reach the right audience and win.
Under the current system, even if a petition is set to 'Local - Birmingham' if the campaign were about the Birmingham bin strikes, I can still see it from Kingston-upon-Thames if it is promoted, the 'Local' scope is not geofenced enough and the 'Global' scope is absolutely NOT global. CSV data from one of my previous closed side projects to install safety fencing at Surbiton station (with a total of 246 signatures), attracted unnecessary signatures from Newport, South Wales, during active promotion which defeats the purpose of that local petition reaching its goal, so as I said before, geofencing is necessary on petitions marked as 'Local' or 'National' in order for those campaigns to reach their goals, however expatriates living overseas should still be able to sign through social media shares or manually searching for them in the search bar.
Change.org advertises itself as a global platform, and while it is perfectly true for someone in the UK to search for American petitions or share their own petition online with social media, that is not how it works during active promotion unfortunately.

With regards to the email limits, the unlimited emails should only occur when a petition starter posts a brand new update to their supporters, not when the creator edits an update (which I do very frequently) or permanently deletes the update. I am also demanding change.org to stop sending verification code emails (which I find annoying) so users can just use their passwords to log in.
Here is my proposed system of how the milestone goals should work on a petition starter’s dashboard (in a similar format to the original 1998 Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Money Tree):
- · 5 signatures
- · 10 signatures
- · 30 signatures (not 25) as 30 signatures is a personal symbolic milestone.
- · 50 signatures
- · 100 signatures (every hundred for petitions between 100 and 500, since this is where a lot of petitions stall).
- · 150 signatures
- · 200 signatures
- · 250 signatures (as it’s a quarter of a thousand) despite being in the middle between 200 and 300.
- · 300 signatures
- · 400 signatures
- · 500 signatures
- · 750 signatures (three quarters of a thousand).
- · 1,000 signatures
- · 2,000 signatures
- · 4,000 signatures
- · 8,000 signatures
- · 16,000 signatures
- · 32,000 signatures
- · 64,000 signatures
- · 128,000 signatures
- · 250,000 signatures
- · 500,000 signatures
- · 1 million signatures
- · 2 million signature
- · 4 million signatures and so forth...
The image above shows the sign button, and the button should read 'sign campaign' and 'sign this campaign' instead of 'sign petition' and finally, CSV spreadsheets should be supplementary to the live geographic breakdown next to the signature counter for creators to download all their signatures, and CSV spreadsheets should be downloadable immediately (with users not having to wait for 24 hours after a petition is created).
