At Wimbledon and Earlsfield stations where many express trains go fast through the 'fast' platforms without stopping, safety fencing was installed in 2014 to prevent suicides on the railway at those stations respectively.

I have known a lot about people jumping onto the tracks at Surbiton station so at Surbiton station, particularly on Platform 2 where non-stop fast London-bound trains pass through, there needs to be safety fencing installed like at Wimbledon and Earlsfield stations.

When the 'fast' platforms are in use at Wimbledon station sliding gates are used so passengers have access to the platform - something similar needs to be installed at Surbiton station with many high speed trains passing through!
