ITS THE BIG DAY!

WE DID IT!!

You probably got the automated platform milestone earlier, but today we hit both our 90-signature and the ultimate 100-signature milestone after starting out on 85 signatures, which means that (hopefully) the milestone has notified decision makers which will FORCE THE PLATFORM to fix their faulty flaws!

Reaching this milestone was not easy; at the start of the campaign (because I originally set the petition's scope to 'National' instead of 'Local'), we were pushed to the back of the visibility queue and struggled to reach our first milestone of 5 signatures (which we achieved on July 20th, roughly two weeks after the petition was created). We also had an intentional campaign hiatus at 23 signatures to coincide with my main Easter date petition's hiatus, but we have seen a very strong increase in momentum since reaching 50 signatures on August 30th. 

Although I have created this platform-reform campaign directly against the host site (change.org), I have done it because the site needs improvements and I don't want other future neurodivergent campaigners to have the same negative experience as me in thinking I'm running a global movement, only to discover that the campaign has been geofenced months later.

I will post the next update if and when necessary, and excluding my joke petition to stop the days from getting shorter, this is my first serious campaign to reach the 100-signature milestone since the Easter date petition reached that milestone itself on 25th March this year.

             Our timeline:

• Petition created - 4th July
• 5 signatures - 20th July
• 23 signatures (hiatus) - August 2nd to August 12th to coincide with my Easter campaign's hiatus
• 50 signatures - August 30th
• 90 signatures - September 11th
• 100 signatures - September 11th

I have renamed my campaign to "Scrap IP-address geofencing on 'Global' change.org petitions + the 3-email weekly cap" and have changed my campaign's front image to "The 'Global' scope on change.org IS A LIE!" in order to convince more people to sign and also to make more people aware of the platform's hidden truth about its use of IP address and currency geofencing!

Will post the next update if and when necessary and we, Brits, will GET OUR REVENGE against the petition company's hidden national restrictions!
