Pupils across Scotland were shocked at the difficulty of their National 5 Mathematics Paper 1 today (12/05/16) - This paper was unusually hard and was unlike anything seen in past papers and specimen papers provided by the SQA. Pupils have put so much preparation into revising for this subject and have now been left very worried for the result day. The knock on effect is fear of subsequent exams and the possibility of not gaining access to the university course they have worked so hard for. We believe the SQA should reduce the pass mark for this exam or take into account the marks attained on NABS throughout the year.
