Stopping university to charge students for SSAF fees and regular Semester fees.

Stopping university to charge students for SSAF fees and regular Semester fees.
The issue
Students are losing jobs and special international students but there is no proper action taken from the government or from the Vice-Chancellor of these universities.
We are struggling and verge of getting kicked out of our homes and no way to fly back to our country as there is no international flights but the universities instead charging full FEES from us and SSAF fees even though we are stuck home using our mobile data to connect to zoom and teach ourself at home.
The goverment is not supporting the students with JOBKEEPER or any other way and the universities and not even refunding our fees.
We are not bags of money that you can choke us to get more.

Dear Student,
At Western, we know just how vital student services and amenities are for you to make the most of uni life outside the classroom. So, while we might be physically apart at the moment, we’ve made sure that many of our on-campus services are still available for you, wherever you are, online.
We’ve also invested significantly in supporting you, through the student hardship fund, Western Success student advisors and via online engagement and exam platforms, so you can continue your learning during this challenging time.
Now more than ever, it’s important that you can still connect with us, collaborate creatively with your peers, and, most importantly, look out for each other during this unsettling time. This is why your Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) is so important for the first half of 2020.
Your SSAF is due on Wednesday 13 May 2020 and your Statement of Account is now available.
What is SSAF used for?
Here are some of the services available to you, as a result of funding from SSAF:
The International Buddy Program offers new students one-on-one chats, group mentoring sessions, virtual campus tours, discussion boards and question-and-answer sessions with the University to help new students settle into your studies.
Take part in one of our virtual soup kitchens run by our great Chaplaincy team, who will deliver a box of fresh produce to you. Then, via a Zoom cooking class, they will teach you how to turn that box of ingredients into a delicious, nutritious soup that will last you for two or three meals.
You can access our Peer-Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) remotely. PASS is a great way to meet and work collaboratively online with other students from your unit, where you can discuss course content and develop study strategies.
Access free help online when you need it most with Study Smart Online. Get feedback on your assignment draft or ask a study question anytime.
Student Legal Service – this is a free legal advice and referral service provided by a qualified lawyer. Depending on the semester, they may be helped by law students completing a clinical education unit and/ or law graduates completing their Practical Legal Training.
How do I access my Statement of Account?
Your SSAF electronic Statement of Account (eSOA) is now available to download in My Student Records (MySR). To access your eSOA:
Log into MySR
Select ‘Fees’
Select ‘Statement of Account’
How do I pay my SSAF?
As an international student, you must pay this fee upfront by 13 May 2020.
We recommend making payment through Onestop. You can find more information about how to pay on your eSOA or by visiting our website.
We’re here to help – please call the Student Central Infoline on 1300 668 370 or email studentcentral@westernsydney.edu.au if you need any assistance.
Kind regards,
Student Administration

So as you can see they want us to pay upfront for fees without even giving us anything back and doing online Soup Kitchen and Buddy program.
THE STUDENTS HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS AND WE WANT A CHANGE
