Sinopharm vaccine has recently been recognised by TGA but only for the age group 18 to 60 years. Many of our parents overseas who are aged above 60 have been administered by sinopharm vaccine which we are dying to see in Australia. We request to please either recognise the vaccine for all age groups or either give us at least an alternative option of getting a booster dose (AstraZeneca or Pfizer) on top of two Sinopharm vaccine doses for over 60’s to be a recognised alternative. We have seen UK, USA, Europe and many other countries around the world who have recognised the vaccine without any age limit or with a booster shot. Many Australian families are in limbo please help us so that many families can unite in this tough situation!
