Since the objective of this petition was to get ANZAC Day services back to as normal as we could (mainly in Queensland as that’s where I’m from and where I had the disagreement). After receiving an email from QLD RSL this afternoon stating that Sub Branches were able to conduct all ANZAC Day events as normal, so long as COVID Safe practices were adhered to. Obviously we can’t ask for more than that and if your local RSL isn’t conducting services, I’d suggest asking why and if nothing else social distance and stand with fellow veterans at the local cenotaph.
