OC Transpo's unstable LRT system is wreaking havoc on its passengers; for the Richmond area residents, the issues run deeper given the limited number of buses available to and from Ottawa.

Many miss their connection due to the train delays, and must wait an additional 45 minutes, unless of course it is the 4th and last bus -then they are to make alternate arrangements to get to Richmond. “Inconvenient” for more than the passenger!

 Most of us have had to amend their work schedules to accommodate the implementation of the LRT due to the greater distances between workplace and stations. Some are now carpooling to Ottawa.

The issues with the LRT are not being resolved.  In fact, they are worsening, and passengers are increasingly frustrated. 

Additionally, OC recently introduced supplemental bus service in an attempt to appease passengers following yet another LRT failure.  However, these buses only start at 7:30am.  Anyone taking the 1st and 2nd buses out of Richmond in the morning,  do not have access to these buses.  

The passengers of the 283 are requesting that all 283 routes be allowed to continue through the Tunney's Pasture/LRT station and go to the downtown core to/from Hurdman.
