The rapid degradation and depletion of our forests is a big problem. Our forests are being deforested as a result of the reckless cutting down of trees by loggers and grazers. The leaders of our government must pay attention to this. The gradual depletion of our forests is the result of human abuse through illegal logging, cutting down young trees and overgrazing. The rapid degradation and depletion of our forests due to various reasons is a big problem that the leaders of our government must pay attention to.

                     In our community, we are gradually feeling the impact of the depletion of forest trees. This triggered flashfloods that took place in various provinces that claimed many lives and destroyed millions worth of property. Extinction of wild animals and endangered species, lowering water levels in dams and rivers, and environmental warming are also some of the effects of deforestation.                       

                    This is a wake up call to everyone that we need to do something and planting trees is a simple way that we can do to help our environment. It is not a hard thing that no one can do,however it is something that everyone, every hand, and every heart can positively do. These trees will surely provide us with many benefits necessary for survival, including clean air, filtered water, shade, and food. They will also give us hope and insight, and courage to persevere – even in the harshest conditions. Trees teach us to stay rooted while soaring to great heights. So, planting trees will be our powerful weapon to conserve and protect natural resources for future generations, and to protect human health through environmental stewardship.

                     This Go Green: Tree Planting campaign program may look as a small act for this big world but the benefits it will bring to future generations will surely make a great and big impact. It’s also a wonderful way to show support for the community, education and the environment. One tree is like a one life, so tons of trees means tons of life. Let’s have unity to make our community greener than ever.

                     Our mission is to make people realize that in every simple actions like planting trees can make a big effect not just for one but for everyone. To make it possible, we are going to use some social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and/or Tumblr to provide news and information about the importance of trees in our life. Also to encourage everyone especially youths to participate in making change by planting trees.
