Let me give some backstory to anyone who doesn’t know. Edgenuity is an education program which was founded in 1998. It has videos and quizzes and there’s a few settings that the teachers can change. Edgenuity might sound suitable for online learning but it’s not whatsoever. Any student who uses Edgenuity will agree that it is fundamentally a good idea, but it failed in execution. A big F for Fail.

     I’m now going to give you an idea of why Edgenuity isn’t working for me. Just go to SiteJabber and there’s so many negative reviews. I will warn you, if you go to SiteJabber, many of the reviews have lots of cursing. Edgenuity’s biggest problem is speed; pace. This shows in many things, The pacing of their videos are too slow and they’re hard to focus on due to they’re blandness. Edgenuity’s servers are slow and unstable which means that it’s seldom to finish an assignment without getting kicked out of the site at least once. After you select a question, they’ll give you an explanation on why the answer you selected is right or if you got it wrong they’ll give you a hint. The issue with this is you can’t select another while they talk short of glitching it out, so you’re basically stuck listening to inaudible talking while you wait to select another option. 

     These are some of my largest issues with Edgenuity. Overall, edgenuity is a tedious, infuriating mess for most students. I think I speak for most students when I say “Edgenuity is the main reason I want to go back to physical school. So this is why I dislike Edgenuity.
