This petition is for students who have enough money for their fare because they are no longer dependent on their parents. They can  budget their money for other purposes like buying things for their project, buy themselves luxury, or save extra money for some emergency purposes. If the cheap stuff is implemented students who rely on themselves no longer have to worry about how to fit their baggage one day.
