Everyday that we go to school we have to make sure we’re not breaking the dress code. A code that takes away our freedom of speech because it does not let us students show who we are, our clothes and the way we dress tend to show the kind of people we are it’s like something that is part of us. The teachers and schools say “you can’t wear that because it’s distracting” well honestly to us students it’s not, we can pay attention well and not get distracted by what other students are wearing wether it’s males or females, maybe the teachers get distracted but none of us students do, we see all these students wearing these “dress coding” outfits out of school so what’s the difference of seeing it during school, we should all be able to wear what we want, from short clothes to hoodies, i mean come on no hoodies? what are hoodies gonna do HOW, are hoodies distracting? none of our outfits are distracting, not short clothes or hoodies or anything else, it shows who we are and the way we think/feel about ourselves and i know i speak for all us students when i say that we’re tired of the dress code, we’re tired of the teachers saying stuff and clearly it only bothers and distracts them because it doesn’t to anyone else, we need to make a chance and i hope there is a lot of people who can agree with me.
