Stop using Canvas in PFISD

Stop using Canvas in PFISD
The Issue
With covid-19, it is difficult for students that are virtual and in person to compete their work online. Google classroom was a much more reliable option for students, staff and even parents. If canvas was introduced and used at the beginning of the school year it would be much more easier to adjust and learn to use it but since they are now starting almost half way into the school year it is much more difficult. This adds lots of stress to students and most parents. If teachers and staff had to go through training to learn how to use canvas shouldn’t it be just as hard to teach students to use it? Us students just want to have a little less stress lifted off of us. We want to turn in our work on time and right, but Canvas makes it difficult. If you want to make a change to the PFISD Canvas policy please sign and share this petition to give students an opportunity to do the best they can do while under such circumstances.
