The school system has been outdated for years. Teachers claim to teach us what we need to know, but what about when we need to buy a house? If the school system can teach us what x equals, maybe they could teach us about credit scores, selling houses, taxes and other things. While most schools are shut down during the COVID-19, this could be a time to better our education system. There are some things we learn everyday at school that are interesting but, not quite as important. I’ve started a petition to see if people agree. If many sign the petition it could change the education for the kids now and the many that come after.
