Due to Wisconsin’s extended safer at home order our prom at Mount Horeb of course was canceled. That is not what we are upset about. The junior ,soon to be senior, class is upset that our prom will be combined next year with what will be the current sophomores junior prom. It is not fair to either grade that our prom is combined regardless of having two separate courts. The prom planning committee has put too much effort towards our prom and people have already spent lots of money towards having their own separate prom. It is unfair that we are being forced into sharing it without a single student even being asked for their opinion on the matter. Everyone understands that in the grand scheme of things prom seems very trivial, but to us this is a very important memorable time in our teenage years and we deserve to get our own prom just like every group before us and how every group will get after us.
