Published in 2010, “The Adventures of Ook and Gluk” follow two cavemen, who are pulled through a time portal in 500,001 B.C. and dropped into the year 2222. There they learn kung fu from martial arts instructor Master Wong so they can travel back in time with their new skills to save their hometown.

This wonderful book has been banned because of a false claim that the book was “racist” and spread this rumor and made Dav Pilkey himself disown it. This goes against EVERYTHING his books fought for. Mr. Pilkey’s books always challenged readers, the last Captain Unferpants novel featured a homosexual couple at a time in history when people were against the idea and refused to tolerate homosexuality before they realized it is not so bad after all! This shows how people can think differently and still coexist.

Please do you part and help us with this cause! Everyone has to right to choose what they want to read or not, and having books you don't like removed from circulation is stealing and destroying that very right from others who DO like them! We must act now and kept this book in print forever!
