DHEC has posted the comment period to unload jelly balls (produced by Jelly Balls LLC, a jellyfish processing plant) in St. Helena island, yet their destination is to the contaminated ARMAZ chemical plant in Lobeco where they propose dumping 250K gallons of effluent into the Whale Branch River daily, which has not yet been approved by DHEC. Why would DHEC allow landing of jelly balls with the processing location still in question? You may read about these news here:
