Due to the coronavirus, prom has been cancelled for Sturgis Brown High School and many others. Most of us have bought everything we need for prom and it can’t be returned. Decorations have been purchased and everything we needed was already figured out. For many of us, this is the last prom we will ever get to attend. My hope is that with enough signatures of parents, students, and supporters we can present this to the Meade School District to consider postponing prom to summer instead of cancelling it all together.
