There is a proposed RACEWAYY gas station that may be coming to Sterling at the old MEOLA'S ice-cream business at 110 Leominster Road, Sterling near the Chocksett Road rotary.  The zoning board approved the development of this gas station.  Many residents are against this gas station.  The police chief, Sean Gaudette, voiced concerns about the gas station.  The DOT has voiced concerns about the gas station.  Area residents have voiced concerns about the traffic increase and dangers of a gas station at this location.  A business that has a daycare next door has voiced concerns about environmental impacts on children that attend the daycare and the possibility of the daycare losing their customers that bring their children to the daycare.  Residents have voiced concerns about noise, traffic, lighting, garbage, thefts, robberies, and more.  It's time to stand up to the town government and show them that we do not want this gas station to be a part of this community.  Your voice and signatures will be shared with town selectboards and other town officials.
