Say No to RFK Jr's $20M Propaganda While Public Health Crumbles

The Issue

It’s hard to believe this is real.

While the Department of Health and Human Services plans to fire up to 10,000 workers and gut vital programs—including global health and HIV prevention—Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is moving ahead with a $20 million PR campaign called “Take Back Your Health.”

Instead of funding lifesaving services, he's choosing to spend millions on ads, social media graphics, and even vinyl wraps for government buildings.

This isn’t health leadership. It’s political theater.

No ad campaign can replace the people being laid off or the programs being dismantled. No slogan will help those who depend on HHS for real care, real outreach, and real support. If Kennedy truly wants a healthier America, he should protect public servants—not sacrifice them for publicity.

This is a betrayal of our values and a dangerous misuse of public funds.

We demand that Secretary Kennedy immediately cancel this ad campaign and use those resources to save jobs and restore essential programs. Public health is not a brand—it’s a responsibility.
