The Issue
The Willow Project is a project where they extract natural recourses from the ground in the United States, North-Alaska. Residues of oil and gas that they extract from the ground and can no longer be used are put in barrels and tanks and dumped into the ocean, releasing co2. co2 is a greenhouse gas that traps heat on the earth, that causes climate changes. If this project continues, 287 million metric tons of CO2 will be emitted within 30 years!
