SAY NO TO PLASTIC #stopchokingtheearth
The Issue
The whole earth has been affected by plastic pollution, including mankind, wildlife, and aquatic life. The pollution is spreading like a disease without a cure. As soon as possible, we should all become aware of the harmful impacts plastic has on our lives.
Plastic pollutes our water. Thousands of tons of plastic is dumped into the sea every year. The presence of plastic in the water compromises its purity because it does not dissolve. Consequently, we won't have any clean water in the coming years.
Furthermore, plastic pollutes our land as well. It pollutes the soil when people dump plastic in landfills. Plastic destroys soil fertility. Moreover, disease-carrying insects congregate in that area, leading to deadly illnesses.
Do you know? 99% of seabirds will be eating plastic by 2050. The situation is extremely drastic. To control it, let's come together and completely eradicate single-use plastic!
