A proposal has been put forward to include  pickleball court lines at Punch Park Balmain. 

Punch Park is home to an established and active tennis community. 

If pickleball courts were to be added, then consideration should be given to the current usage of the tennis courts, including tennis coaching that is provided at Punch Park. Overall, there should not be a material diminution in access to tennis courts, for residents and local coaching businesses.

We understand that the Inner West Council will work with the community to find an appropriate balance.
