We reached 100 signatures today!  Thank you for your outreach. Please continue to share this petition with everyone you know in the area. We have to make our concerns known to the decision makers.  

As I stated in the last update, our next goal is to inform the Half Hollow Hills community about this project. The Town of Babylon has left HHH out of the conversation even though this industrial park will greatly impact HHH families. We will be at the HHH Board of Education meeting Monday, December 16th at 8:00 PM to share our concerns with Board members. The meeting will be at Paumanok Elementary School.

Our second goal is to file a Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request with the Town of Babylon so that we can see all documents related to this rezoning. It is our belief that the Town has not fulfilled their proper duties in sufficiently notifying residents of all affected communities about this major change happening steps from where we live.

I want to also thank those who have donated financially to this outreach. Please note that any donations you contribute here give you the ability to promote the petition and broadcast it to others. But the wonderful thing about Change.org is that it is free for us to use and donations are solely at your discretion. Please let everyone know that they don't have to pay to sign the petition! We've had over 1000 views. I would love for more of those viewers to actually sign.
