Thank you for signing. We reached our first goal of 50 signatures! We couldn't have done it without you. Please continue to discuss and share with your neighbors, friends, and family. Our next goal is to get to 100 signatures by the end of the week.

Some of you have asked, "So what is the plan?  How will we get the Town of Babylon to listen to us?"

Last Saturday we had a Zoom meeting where we shared some information with attendees about the project. We've created a shared Google folder with Saturday's Zoom presentation and all supporting documents. You can find the folder HERE (and links below). It will help you understand all the issues at stake beyond what we have posted here.

Our immediate next step is to reach out to the Half Hollow Hills School District, as many of the families affected have children in HHH schools. We will be at the upcoming Board of Education meeting this Monday, December 16th at 8:00 PM. The location is Paumanok Elementary School, 1 Seaman Neck Road (Straight Path), Dix Hills, NY 11746. It is important that HHH gets involved. The Town of Babylon has deliberately left HHH out of the conversation, even though many of the surrounding areas of this proposed industrial site are in HHH. Remember, it is officially called the Half Hollow Hills School District of Huntington and Babylon. Don't let Schaffer and friends forget it!
