Stop the Promotion of Halloween in Australia

Halloween has crept into Australian culture in recent years, but many remain unaware of the spiritual connotations it carries. What is often presented as harmless fun is in fact rooted in the celebration of witchcraft and the occult.

While some dismiss witchcraft as harmless stories, others openly practice it through curses, rituals, and occult activities. This is not something we should be normalising—especially for our children. Promoting Halloween in shops and public spaces trivialises practices that are destructive and spiritually harmful.

We, the undersigned, call on retailers and businesses across Australia to:

• Stop promoting Halloween in stores.
• Remove Halloween-related items from display and sale.

Australia does not need Halloween. We ask that our communities be protected from the spread of this celebration and the harmful values it represents.
