Sesame Street is being canceled because it’s no longer being funded. As well as public libraries and other parts of the department of education(student loans, federal education programs, individuals with disabilities act, etc). These are all being defunded as a way to discontinue public education and heightening  workers. They get rid of education, lower the child labors laws, don’t provide child care or maternity leave and claim “we do whats right no matter how difficult it is or how many people are against it” getting rid of a program that was dear to us as children may not seem like the biggest issue right now but it helped fill the gaps for children who had to stay home and couldn’t go to a day care or after school program, and it’s part of a much bigger agenda to slowly defund the entire department of education. Do we really want the next generations of children to be rotting in front of a phone screen on TikTok and YouTube?? Wouldn’t you rather your kids watch safe content made for kids by people who understand the brain development of children??? Please sign the petition in order to not only save Sesame Street but also our department of education and the future generations of children.
