The Marine biology program at Worcester technical highschool is under threat of being discontinued after the current teacher Scott Hunter retires this year. But even though he’s leaving the program it does not mean that the program has to leave with him, the marine biology program has been providing a quality education for the past twenty years. Allowing for kids to gain hands on experiences in the forms of creating artificial coral reefs, fishing to obtain population samples and information, and working on water chemistry and aquatic environments.
