Last week, on May 15, Zuzu's Facebook password was hacked and the hacker posted something that caused her page to be immediately disabled. There's no way to contest this action or contact anyone at Facebook's completely non-existent customer support to fix the problem. As it stands, Zuzu is permanently locked out of her Facebook page and also Messenger. All of her pictures, messages, and contacts are blocked from access. All the photos of us together, our first dates, our son growing up, their adventure out West to explore the national parks, and countless pictures of our cats are gone. The photo in this petition is one of only two or three that remain of Zuzu and me. All of our milestones and memories have been ripped away.

It's my hope that with enough attention, maybe, just maybe a miracle might happen and someone at Facebook will realize the mistake that's been made and restore Zuzu's account access. For now, let this be a warning that if you haven't backed up your life's memories, they could very well be stolen from you by a faceless, uncaring corporate entity.
