Phillip Webb has been fighting to save the historic works for 5 years now and already has been subjected to bullying and rude emails by St modwen now is facing new bullying tactics from Gemini rail who run the site.
Phillip has been receiving photo's by email of the inside of the old derelict buildings on site which he has posted on his Facebook group to show the state of the buildings and the artefacts still within them
Phillip has been asking around for help in making sure the artefacts are saved which he informed Gemini about which then resulted in Phillip being accused of entering the site and buildings or has an accomplice and planing to remove items from the buildings without permission.
Phillip was told This purpose of this letter is to clearly confirm and provide you with formal notification that unauthorized access to any area within the boundary fence/wall of the Wolverton site, irrespective of the manner in which access is gained, is strictly prohibited. In circumstances where, after the date of this letter, non-authorised access to the Wolverton Works either yourself, or any other person, is evidenced, we shall pursue to the fullest extent possible both criminal and civil proceedings against those concerned;
Phillip responded to this asking for dates and times etc but Gemini have failed to prove this information. Phillip Has stated he has never gone the site without permission let alone enter buildings. The last time he was on site was in 2016 on a group tour and may this year as i had a meeting there.
Phillip has said he now is more determined than even to carry fighting to save the works this latest bully boy tactics has re lite his fire. Phillip has said i will do my best to study the photo's for the artefacts and seek advice from museums and heritage groups in order to get them out of the buildings and on display. this will be done through the correct channels as and when we are at that stage!
