Hello Phillip,
I can confirm that St Modwen still own the site and that an email has been forwarded to me that states that there “are detailed discussions with Gemini Rail (part of the Mutares Group and tenant and operator of the Works site) to establish the potential of delivering a new facility for them, in accordance with the conditions etc of the planning consent. If and when these discussions reach a successful conclusion, this will allow us to re-engage on all design matters as we seek to bring forward the Reserved Matters applications for all parts of the site.”
The article that we are awaiting from Gemini is regards their business and future plans we cannot, all article received are considered for inclusion in the newsletter and should compatible with the legal restrictions binding the Town Council’s activities and the broad thrust of its policies. The Council reserves the right to edit or abridge articles and their inclusion in a particular edition will be determined by a combination of the following factors: available space, topicality, regularity/frequency of content on this topic, balance of overall edition, date of submission of article. This list is illustrative and not exhaustive.
Again, as it is private property there is very little that we can do to influence them weeding the site.
