Electrolux live in the works old paint shops. In 1999 two of the three old paint shops had a major fire which burnt to them to the ground the interesting thing is the new warehouse building had to built to the foot print of the old buildings door to the fact each doorway had to be in the same places despite the fact they wanted to move the loading dock. These rules were put in place by the same council that want the works demolished. Another interesting fact that HE should really ask about is in 2016 knorr bremse put in an application to replace six windows on the incident shed to turn it into offices and the council and conservation officer refused the application point blank on conservation grounds that the lose of the windows would harm the look of the building but yet the council want to get rid of the buildings. or should i say are being paid to removed the buildings. How can they justify not allowing windows to be replaced t but total demolition of the building?
