Gary and Jo Can you list the 9 buildings on site not being use like it says in this very false statement There are 9 disused buildings on the site which comprise of Victorian purpose-built carriage sheds, workshops and shunting yards. 9 Buildings is close to the whole site Also where did this false statment come from These buildings were primarily used for the production of carriages and rolling stock. The buildings on the site have been left vacant for circa 50 years with no ongoing maintenance during this period. This has left the buildings contained within the site in a severely dilapidated state and in an unsafe condition. Again the works down sized in the late 1980's when the wolverton 150 celebration in 1988 the old works buildings where tesco now sites where only just emptied and moved so who ever wrote that statement needs to get it write the sawmill joiners and smithy was last used as such 35 years ago. please if you are going to put these documents out in the public please make sure they are correct. but i would love to know what the 9 empty unused buildings are?
