Stop the splitting of WAVE!

Stop the splitting of WAVE!
The Issue
Because, at WAVE our friendships are very important. And by making this change, half of use would most likely never see the other half again. Also, making this change makes it very apparent that CCISD is not thinking about the student and how they might react to this change.
WAVE represents something as a whole, and splitting it in two would ruin it's signifigance. It represents us Gifted and Talented as a whole, untiting and working together to realize our full potential and what we have to offer to the world. I come from a school that is notoriously bad for dealing with GT students. So coming to WAVE and leaving all my current friends was a hard decision to make, but it felt natural. After my 6th grade year in WAVE I had made many friends and met many people like me, and that helped me fit in, which I welcomed. Splitting WAVE would be like when parents divorce and deviding up their children, it only brings devistation to the whole family. You can't have a happy family with the most important parts miles away from each other. All the gifted and talented children need, and deserve to know each other, and work together, but that can't be done when they're so far appart. Because with every single GT student another GT student knows, the more accepted they feel.
