The City just opened Council File 25-0742, allowing Metro and the City to lease the Victory & Balboa Park-and-Ride lot for “relinquished vehicle storage.”

The picture I provided is the Victory & Balboa Park-and-Ride lot on a typical day. Nearly every space is filled with commuters who rely on this stop for daily transit access. Turning it into an RV storage yard would eliminate much-needed parking and force many riders to travel farther to find a spot — a clear example of poor planning and disregard for regular transit users.
