Save Uttarakhand’s Forests and the Homes of Our Animals
My name is Aadhya Singh, and I am a Class 5 student at DPSGV, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad (U.P.). I am starting this petition because I am deeply worried about the forests of Uttarakhand and the animals that call them home.

I love the beautiful mountains, green forests, birds and animals of Uttarakhand. But when trees are cut and forests are disturbed, animals can lose their homes, food and safe places to live. They may be forced closer to roads and villages, which can put both animals and people in danger.

I understand that roads, buildings and other development are important for people. But development should not mean losing our forests and wildlife. We must find a way to develop while protecting nature.

Through this petition, I humbly request the Government of India and the Government of Uttarakhand to stop unnecessary cutting of forests, protect important wildlife habitats and corridors, take strong action against illegal tree cutting, and ensure that trees planted in place of those removed are properly protected and allowed to grow.

I may be only a Class 5 student, but I believe my voice can make a difference. Animals cannot speak for themselves, so I want to speak for them.

Please join me in protecting Uttarakhand’s forests today, so that children tomorrow can still see its green mountains, hear its birds and watch its animals living safely in their natural homes.
