Robert McGuin- Almondbury Ward Cllr Candidate & Bernard McGuin - Tolson Museum Update

Tolson Museum sit's in the Almondbury Ward. You may have heard a Councillor for Almondbury Ward resigned after 48 days causing a By Election costing you the taxpayer £25,000 and an Election will take place on Thursday August 13th. In my opinion £25,000 would have been better spent towards saving Tolson Museum from closure!.
Please view and share our latest clip regarding the plan to close Tolson Musuem and what happens next. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1786537169458112
I have sent a personal letter and an email to the Reform Kirklees Council Leader in which I have yet to receive a response. I have told the Council Leader that over 4,000 local residents have expressed their opinion that Tolson Musuem should remain open and asked questions on your behalf of what the future holds for Tolson Musuem as it is currently due to close it's doors for good with no current plan for it's future use and left to wrack and ruin.
As a Friend of Tolson & Ravensknowle Museum member I have campaigned with my Father EX Almondbury Ward Cllr Bernard McGuin for years to stop Tolson Museum from closure. The Election gives an opportunity for local residents to Elect a Councillor to represent Almondbury Ward who will champion in the local community and at Huddersfield Town Hall to stop the current plan of Tolson Musuem closing for good. We need someone who will be vocal for Almondbury Ward, Huddersfield, work with local residents and the wider community to campaign to save Tolson Museum.
That is why I announced after careful consideration that I will be putting myself forward as a Candidate for the Almondbury Ward By Election. Working with Bernard McGuin and local residents over the years I have the knowledge and experience to continue the fight to the very end to Save Tolson Museum.
Thank you to local residents who have signed this petition to save Tolson Museum from closure. 4,310 local residents have now signed the petition. Please continue to share this petition with friends and family on social media www.change.org/p/save-tolson-museum-huddersfield .
Leigh Tolson gifted Ravensknowle Hall to Huddersfield over 100 years ago in memory of his 2 nephews, brothers Robert Tolson & James Tolson, who were killed in First World War.
Please support Friends of Tolson and Ravensknowle where you can. In the Memorial Garden at 2pm, Sundown Swing will be performing on Sunday August 16th.
P.S Time is running out to save Tolson Museum from closure, please continue to share this petition to show that Tolson Museum should be saved from closure.
Thank You
Robert McGuin - Almondbury Ward Cllr Candidate & Bernard McGuin
