Cllr Bernard & Collins Ibor - Tolson Museum Update

We are against Kirklees Labour Council plans to close Tolson Museum. The Council after 8 years of Tolson Museum being earmarked for closure still have no future plans for the building for the local community. 

Kirklees Council closed Huddersfield Library and currently have no plans to open it up. There idea is to have a Museum in the Huddersfield Library but little to no work has happened for 16 months.

Kirklees Council have made clear there future plans are that Tolson Museum will not be used as a museum in the future. The worry is that Tolson Museum will be left to wrack and ruin under the current proposal for when it closes.
