Cottesloe residents we need your signatures now! 

In the coming months Friends of John Black Dune Park will be taking this petition to Council. ALL signatures are important, but Cottesloe signatures will carry the most weight, so please pass this petition on to every concerned resident and rate payer in Cottesloe you know, who wants to preserve and restore the John Black Dune Park  as a nature reserve. The Council is determined to build huge concrete bowls, a pump track, concrete seating, connection paths (and even lighting?) on this rare green nature strip, home to over 21 bird species. The Council promised to revegetate and rejuvenate the park after they gave away a huge chunk of it to the Tennis Club. Please sign this petition and contact the Council to voice your concern. DO YOU REALLY WANT SOMETHING LIKE THIS (which was abandoned due to cost blow-out!) WHICH WILL BE AN UGLY HEAT STAND AND DESTROY RARE GREEN OPEN SPACE IN COTTESLOE FOREVER AND THE HABITAT OF SO MANY SMALL BIRDS?
