We have now found John Black's granddaughter! Kathy Mann lives in Cottesloe and strongly supports our campaign to save the dune park, named after her grandfather, former Mayor of Cottesloe 1932 - 1945, from being destroyed with a concrete skate park.  

She writes in the local paper today:

'I always thought the council's policy was to protect and preserve remnant dunes and coastal vegetation, and to encourage natural habitat in the dune park...The John Black Dune Park is an important part of Cottesloe’s history and should be kept with dunes, coastal vegetation and natural habitat.' 

WE NEED TO SAVE THIS DUNE PARK FOR THE PURPLE-BACKED FAIRY WREN AND THE SPOTTED SCRUB WREN AND ALL THE OTHER WILDLIFE
