I've only been to The Warehouse twice, both times in 2016, to watch my friends band, Lies Within. I loved it the first time I walked through that door. The property owner has decided to sell the building for residential zoning to continue to grow the Clarksville community. Clarksville is a great city so I understand the need for more housing. But The Warehouse is a community landmark that has been hosting amazing concerts and other events for almost 30 years. It is scheduled to close on August 7th. We have four months to try and help Mike Souza see that people want The Warehouse to be around for another 30+ years, even if it's in a different location. I've seen several people comment on Facebook that there is an old car dealership on Riverside that is big enough and has plenty of parking. If The Warehouse closes, it will be a huge loss for Clarksville. What is more housing if the people who move into them have nowhere to go for awesome live music or the glowrage paint party among many other events?
