Hi, my name is Isabella Stoodley, and I am a senior and athlete at Bellows Falls Union High School. I am setting up this petition on behalf of the teachers and staff at BFUHS who are on the chopping block of losing their jobs due to the possible budget cuts for the upcoming school year. The school is looking to cut even more teachers than last year, including each a History, English and Math position, as well as my father, Ryan Stoodley, who is a Physical Education teacher, Adaptive Physical Education teacher for both middle and high school and Varsity Football and Softball Coach. He has been employed by the high school for 20 years and has been the PE teacher for the past decade. If this budget cut goes through, this means that in the past 2 years, nine teachers have been cut from the school. I and others have noticed the decline of morale in the building since these cuts have been made. This has just been sprung upon these teachers all of a sudden with no warning and they need your help! Any assistance is appreciated by either signing this petition or coming to the high school on Monday (12/16) at 4:30 to help support these teachers!
